KANSAS CITY, Mo.
This summer, planners hosting meetings and events at the Sheraton Hotel Kansas City and The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center, in Kansas City, Mo., can offer groups a unique twist on the standard F&B station or bar, thanks to a flourishing herb garden at the hotel complex.
When planners order the hotel complex's herb cocktail station, guests can watch bartenders craft colorful cocktails (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) made with the fresh herbs grown on property at The Westin—including rosemary, basil, cilantro, chives, dwarf lavender and more.
Cocktails include the Green Tea Agave Mojito, Cucumber Cilantro Margarita, Strawberry Basil Lemonade, Arnold Palmer and the Roseberry. The Arnold Pepper cocktail, as an example, mixes flavors of gin, lemon juice, spears of red bell pepper, basil leaves and agave. The special herb cocktail station is available June through September.
The spacious hotel complex offers about 150,000 square feet of overall event space.
