Artsy Emphasis for Former PA Four Seasons

PHILADELPHIA

Sage Hospitality recently unveiled plans for the Logan, Philadelphia's Hotel. The project has officially begun its transformation and is slated to debut this fall, 2015 and will be part of Curio – A collection by Hilton.

The Logan will reopen its doors and introduce an art-inspired interpretation on Modern Luxury, a contrast to the traditional decor associated with its predecessor, the former Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia.

The Logan hotel will be named to honor James Logan and further celebrates the Logan Square location. Logan was one of the most respected men of his generation in colonial Pennsylvania. James Logan will represent the soul of Philadelphia's hotel and he's inspired an innovative, brave and creative approach to hospitality provided in this soon to be transformed location.

"When the doors reopen, Philadelphia can expect something truly unique, a hotel they will be extremely proud of," said Walter Isenberg, President and CEO of Sage Hospitality. "Everything about this transformation is inspired by the city, its people, its magic and grit. The Logan will be something that visitors and locals don't just think of as a hotel, but as Philadelphia's favorite place to be."

Renovations to the building will transform it substantially in an artful, curated manner. Throughout the lobby and first floor, lighter pastels will give way to dramatic deep ocean blues, metal and stone associated with sculpture. Guest rooms and suites will feature newly designed floor to ceiling interiors.

Meeting and banquet space, along with an all-new ballroom, will offer fresh designs, suited for modern functions of all kinds. New catering menus will offer a vibrant culinary experience combining historical service levels with modern menu offerings.

On the lower level, energizing color palates will aim to create an equally inspiring landscape for a new spa and fitness center. And, in maybe the most dramatic change in space, a rooftop lounge will open in the spring of 2016 offering Philadelphians and guests the chance to enjoy the great outdoors.

Adjacent to the hotel will be a modern farm-to-table steakhouse. Denver-based Sage Restaurant Group will introduce Urban Farmer – Philadelphia's Steakhouse to the local community. This will be the third outpost of their nationally recognized Urban Farmer in Portland, Ore.

The Logan is located at One Logan Square, nearby to America's first botanical garden, zoo and permanent theatre as well as world class art collections, museums and other attractions. The Liberty Bell Center and Independence Hall are nearby, as well as many local Philadelphia cultural favorites.

Curio is a luxury collection by Hilton striving to feature authentic, independent hotels around the world. The Logan, Philadelphia's hotel, will immediately begin taking reservations for arriving guests in November 2015.
