COSTA MESA, Calif.
The Westin South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Calif., concluded an extensive renovation of its 394 guest rooms, including 17 suites.
A color palette of soothing grays and blues was chosen to give the rooms a calming feel where guests may quietly recharge. The rooms feature new Westin Heavenly Beds, and for design value, all ceilings were given smooth surfaces and crown moldings were added.
All hard and soft goods were replaced, and the bathrooms featuring the Heavenly Shower underwent a comprehensive reformation resulting in majority of rooms featuring large walk-in showers.
The hotel features 35,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space that can accommodate up to 600 guests. The unique Terrace Level offers an outdoor space ideal for gala events, plus an outdoor gazebo specifically designed for wedding ceremonies and themed events.
The hotel's iconic Waterfall Terrace features a backdrop of falling water from the Neptune Water Spouts, and was recently redesigned to accommodate up to 175 people for wedding ceremonies and other receptions, and up to 120 for a unique outdoor dining experience.
In 2014, the hotel launched its new revolutionary workspace concept, Tangent, a Westin functional workspace that utilizes smart technology and innovative design, making it easier for business travelers to connect with their colleagues across the table or around the globe.
The Westin is adjacent to South Coast Plaza, a unique retail center and an ultimate shopping destination. With over 280 luxury stores, it has the highest concentration of premier stores in the country.
