A new 143-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in Durham, N.C., opened for business at 1180 West Main St.
The all-suite Residence Inn Durham McPherson/Duke University Medical Center Area will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Concord Greenberg Durham Hotel, LLC and managed by Concord Hospitality Enterprises.
Located downtown, adjacent to Duke University’s East campus and 15 miles from Raleigh-Durham International Airport, the extended-stay hotel offers its guests convenient access to Duke University Medical Center, Duke Gardens, Durham Bulls Athletic Park and the Durham Performing Arts Center.
Rates at the property vary depending on length of stay.
The hotel’s amenities include grocery delivery service, complimentary Wi-Fi, 24-hour onsite food and beverage market, dry cleaning services, and on-site guest laundry room. The hotel’s weeknight evening gatherings offer a casual, relaxing environment and light fare.
The hotel also maintains 2,500 square feet of meeting space, a business library where guests can fax, copy and print materials, and an indoor swimming pool and exercise room.
