Hay Creek Hotels announced recently that it has been selected to manage the iconic Cranwell Resort in the popular Berkshire destination of Lenox, Mass.
The sprawling property sits atop a hillside on 380 acres overlooking the Berkshire Mountains. Originally built in 1853, the historic mansion has been expanded over time to include 114 guest rooms and suites, two full-service restaurants and a Spa Cafe, 16,000 square feet of meeting facilities, a 35,000-square-foot Health Spa (one of the largest in New England), a state of the art fitness center, an 18 hole historic golf course along with indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts and cross country skiing facilities.
The Cranwell is a member of Historic Hotels of America and multi-time award winner, ranked in the Top 150 U.S. Resorts by Conde Nast Traveler, rated on the Zagat Survey of U.S. Hotels, Resorts & Spas, Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, SpaFinder Readers Choice Award, and holds a Four Star Golf Rating by Golf Digest Magazine to name a few recent accolades.
The Resort was acquired by a private joint venture investment group and will be operated by Hay Creek Hotels.
