ST. CHARLES, Ill.
Jerry Barnes has been appointed general manager for Pheasant Run Resort according to Gina Rinaldo, vice president of operations for the property's management company, Hostmark Hospitality Group.
Barnes will oversee a staff of more than 300 and will aim to ensure the resort's operations continue to run smoothly during the current multimillion dollar rejuvenation.

The 18-year hospitality industry veteran returns to Pheasant Run, where he previously served as the interim general manager, after serving as general manager for the independent, four-star luxury all-suite Lake Eve Resort, a Walt Disney Resort Good Neighbor property in Orlando. Barnes has spent the majority of his hospitality career managing full service hotels and resorts throughout the south and mid-Atlantic region including resorts in Clearwater Beach, FL, Annapolis, MD, and several hotels and resorts in the Orlando market. Originally from Michigan, Barnes is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint.
Pheasant Run Resort is one of the Midwest's largest resorts, located less than an hour from downtown Chicago in historic St. Charles, Illinois and within close proximity to all airports and transportation hubs. The resort features 473 spacious guest rooms, several restaurants, two swimming pools, Zanies Comedy Club, Spa Vargas, and an 18-hole golf course.
Pheasant Run also offers 100,000 square feet of meeting space including 42 meeting rooms, an expo center, four ballrooms, and a 320-seat tiered amphitheater. The property is operated by Hostmark Hospitality Group.
