Kana Hotel Group, in partnership with Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development, recently celebrated the groundbreaking of Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Gwinnett-Sugarloaf in Gwinnett County, Metro Atlanta.
Located at 2029 Satellite Blvd, in the Sugarloaf corridor, Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Gwinnett-Sugarloaf will be constructed and designed in the brand's Design Option III style, with a variety of side-by-side suites, and one-room suites in addition to a contemporary atrium area, decreasing the amount of land needed and creating efficiencies for both construction and operational costs.
The Embassy Suites Atlanta Gwinnett-Sugarloaf will feature signature amenities, including 166 suites, over 7,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, free cooked-to-order breakfast each morning, a nightly complimentary evening reception and two-room suites with a separate living area, private bedroom, two flat-screen high-definition televisions and wet bar fitted with a microwave, mini-fridge and a selection of gourmet coffee and teas from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. The property will offer complimentary, 24-hour fitness and business centers, along with an indoor pool.
The groundbreaking followed an event hosted in Partnership Gwinnett's Economic Development Breakfast series on the future of the Sugarloaf corridor. More than 150 business leader from across the Metro Atlanta attended to hear panelists discuss plans for a $100 million investment in full-service hotel developments, the creation of the Sugarloaf Community Improvement District and the future phasing of the Gwinnett Center Master Plan, including an entertainment district.
