FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.
The 156-room Pelican Grand Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., recently completed a multimillion-dollar expansion, which doubled its on-property meeting and event space to 10,150 square feet. The expansion added two oceanfront ballrooms and terraces, as well as two new penthouses.
Additions include:
- The creation of the 1,400-square-foot Atlantic Ballroom, located steps from the beach, with views of the Atlantic Ocean for up to 120 guests.
- The 2,678-square-foot Atlantic Terrace, a rooftop venue with a coastal chic design.
- An 11th floor 2,055-square-foot Ocean View Ballroom, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
- The 3,700-square-foot Ocean View Terrace and Gazebo for up to 150 guests.
Other new accommodations include a 12th floor “Sky Suite” penthouse, with panoramic views from a 75-foot terrace and a private dining room for eight guests complete with an exclusive elevator, in addition to a “PURE Suite” on the 11th floor of the property.
