Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Ltd. announced the appointment of Catherine Cumings as director of sales and marketing at Pelican Grand Beach Resort. In this role, Cumings will provide leadership and oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales and marketing departments, while maintaining focus on the strategic goals of Pelican Grand Beach Resort.
Cumings comes to Pelican Grand with more than 25 years of general management and sales and marketing experience, having gained top-notch perspective working with brands such as St. Regis and PGA National in markets from Florida to D.C., but most notably having successfully opened four luxury hotels and reflagging two five-star properties. Additionally, over the course of her career, Cumings has also served as a hospitality consultant and owned a sales and marketing firm, Just Results, to work for independent hotel and hospitality clients.
The 156-room resort recently went through renovations and doubled the on-site meeting space to 10,150 square feet, including a new, 2,055-square foot Ocean View Ballroom on the 11th floor.
