The Abbey Resort on Geneva Lake released a full line-up of traditional autumn activities, specials and packages planned throughout the coming months—and yes, there will be pumpkin.
The 334-room resort is located 80 miles from downtown Chicago and 50 miles from Milwaukee. It offers over 40,000 square feet of combined space and more than 24 flexible meetings venues. The following specials could potentially add some spice to an upcoming meeting or event.
Dining Specials
In addition to a Saturday night Prime Rib Buffet, Sunday Harborside Champagne Brunch, and Friday Fish Fry, 240° West and The Waterfront Bar will feature Oktoberfest menus throughout the season.
For those beautiful, sunny fall days that are too warm to enjoy the beloved Pumpkin Spice latte, Café Latte is featuring an Iced Cinnamon Dolcé Latte. The concoction is made with milk, cinnamon dolcé syrup, and espresso over ice and topped with whipped cream and cinnamon dolcé topping.
Spa Specials
The Avani Spa is featuring a 50-minute Pumpkin Spice Massage that relaxes muscles and moisturizes skin with Shea butter, vitamins A, C, D and E, as well as pumpkin spice oil. Or, guests can enjoy the Autumn Quench Body Wrap intended to restore moisture to summer skin.

Overnight Packages
The Unwind Weekend series returns this fall with food and wine weekends offered October 16 – 18, November 6 – 8, and December 4 – 6. Spa-themed Unwind Weekends will be available October 30 – November 1, November 20 – 22, and December 11 – 13.
Additionally, The Abbey’s Thrill and Chill Getaway Package provides a potential Lake Geneva getaway for tired planners featuring adventure, relaxation and fall colors. Activities and Holiday Packages
Holiday overnight packages are available for both Columbus Day and Halloween weekends. Families are encouraged to get into a settler spirit from Friday, October 9 through Monday, October 12 by enjoying themed activities such as a bow and arrow contest, a Lewis and Clark adventure, an Oregon Trail survival game, bead and feather crafts, a Sail to America boat race, and more.
Or, if looking for a Halloween adventure guests can enjoy a costume contest, Halloween movies, pumpkin painting, a spooky lighted trail for the little ones, making caramel apples, and of course spine-tingling bonfires with s’mores, apple cider, and scary stories.
Additionally, an adults-focused Halloween party will be held in The Waterfront featuring a costume contest, an adult-centric comedian/magician, live music, dry ice drink specials, and a Thriller dance contest. Halloween themed activities will be offered Friday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1.
