The personal and business travel booking wars are still raging, as major hotel chains compete (or even partner with) with the likes of Expedia, Orbitz, Booking.com and Airbnb, among others.
TRAVO is one of the newest contenders in the business travel market that is looking to simplify the booking experience for those who may not have access to an agency to book their trip. The Los Angeles-based startup recently raised $2.4 million from investors and is hiring more employees.
In November, the company launched its app and platform in an invitation-only, beta format. Once users receive an invite, they can input information on where they need to be and when. TRAVO then searches its database to calculate the most cost-efficient itinerary for the business traveler.
More information on the service is available via L.A. Biz and TRAVO’s official website.
