DENVER
The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) recently opened registration for its GBTA Convention 2016, which will be held at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver from July 16-20, 2016.
GBTA's annual convention brings together business travel and meetings managers, meeting planners, procurement professionals and suppliers from around the world. This year’s theme is “Balance.”
"As technology continues to drive business traveler preferences and behavior, achieving and maintaining balance is more crucial than ever before," said Michael W. McCormick, GBTA executive director and COO. "GBTA Convention 2016 will bring together the most dynamic individuals in business travel for the ultimate networking and educational experience.”
Finding balance is particularly a challenge at a moment when the industry is undergoing significant changes due to changing demographics, technologies and travel platforms. At Convention, nearly 7,000 industry professionals will seek to find the right balance to understanding and leveraging the competing interests between their business travelers and their organization.
Held at the Colorado Convention Center, GBTA Convention 2016 will reportedly bring attendees “world-class keynote speakers,” more than 80 education sessions, a large business travel expo floor, a wide selection of professional development opportunities and much more.
Attendee registration is now available. Those who register before February 9, 2016, will receive early bird rates. More info on programs and speakers will be unveiled throughout 2016.
