SAINT PAUL, Minn.
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced the opening of the InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront hotel, ushering in “a new era of luxury” for Minnesota’s vibrant capital city. Offering views of the Mississippi River and downtown Saint Paul skyline, this hotel represents another example of the continued growth and on-going investment into the downtown business district.
“Offering a true global view, the InterContinental brand portfolio of hotels is twice the size of its luxury brand competitors, and we are confident this hotel in Saint Paul will provide our guests with a luxurious, first-class experience in the Minnesota capital city,” Jason Moskal, VP, Lifestyle Brands, The Americas.
The multimillion-dollar renovation of the historic property showcases mid-century modern design and décor in all 410 guest rooms and public spaces. There is also 43,000 square feet of meeting space across 10 meeting rooms, an executive boardroom and two grand ballrooms with ample adjunct pre-function spaces. The Great River Ballroom can host up to 1,000 people for gala dinners and conferences.
The Saint Paul Riverfront hotel also offers a new dining experience at its Citizen Supper Club restaurant. With a modern twist on the supper club concept from a bygone era, guests can sip on midcentury cocktails, wine, beer or spirits at the bar or enjoy dishes crafted by Executive Chef John Occhiato.
