bXb Online, LLC, creator of BOB.tv – Best of Business, announced that its board of directors has appointed Heidi A. Voorhees as chief executive officer effective Jan. 25, 2016. Voorhees was also elected to the Board of Directors of bXb Online, effective Feb. 28, 2016.
Tony Lorenz will continue to serve as a primary shareholder, member of the executive committee of the bXb Board, and strategic advisor to the company as he takes the role of CEO of AlliedPRA.
“Heidi is a highly respected association executive. We met during my time at Freeman years ago, and I have been trying to identify a way to work closely with her ever since,” Lorenz said. “I am so proud to have her take the helm at BOB.tv, as I move into my next adventure in the industry.”
Voorhees began her professional career at SmithBucklin, an association management firm, moving into increasingly responsible executive positions in associations, culminating in her role as VP, strategic initiatives at Institute of Food Technologists. Heidi then spent two years as SVP of Experient, where she held a wide range of responsibilities in the management of Experient’s significant client relationships.
