New York Hilton Midtown announced the appointment of Victor Freeman as the hotel manager of the 1,932-room midtown property.
“Victor’s proven leadership and expertise in management, coupled with his commitment to outstanding customer service, will ensure the New York Hilton Midtown’s proven track record in the competitive midtown hotel market with continued success,” said Laurens Zieren, general manager, New York Hilton Midtown.
In his new role, he will ensure a premium experience for guests of New York Hilton Midtown and his responsibilities will encompass the day-to-day hotel operations, overseeing all aspects of the guest experience.
“From the start, the property has led the charge in providing a heightened hospitality experience in Manhattan,” said Victor Freeman. “I have always had a passion for hotel operations and the challenge of a business that never closes its doors. The excitement of interacting with guests, team members and making New York Hilton Midtown as successful as possible is strong motivation.”
Freeman hails from The Carlton, bringing more than 25 years of experience throughout the hospitality industry. His previous appointments entailed management positions at The Surrey, Affinia 50, The Benjamin and The Mark, among others.
Freeman is a member of the Hotel Association of New York as well as Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI). New York Hilton Midtown offers over 150,000 square feet of meeting space including the 24,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, the largest in the city, which can accommodate up to 3,000 guests.
