BOULDER, Colo.
Lisa Lindgren, CHA has been promoted to general manager of Hotel Boulderado located in downtown Boulder. She accepted the role from well-known hotelier Sid Anderson, who is retiring after 38 years as general manager.
Lindgren, a Boulder native, brings more than 25 years in the hospitality industry to her new role, most recently serving as general manager of Concept’s Table Mountain Inn, a boutique hotel located in downtown Golden, Colo., and overseeing Quality Inn Louisville, located in Louisville near Boulder. Prior to joining Table Mountain Inn in 2010, she was advertising director for Colorado Meetings & Events and Northern California Meetings & Events magazines for five years.
After launching her hotel career in the Phoenix/Scottsdale market, Lindgren worked at the property level and in regional capacities for hotel management companies RFS, Homestead Studio Suites and CSM Lodging in northern California, Denver and Minneapolis. The portfolios featured various brands including Sheraton, Holiday Inn, Homestead Studio Suites, Marriott and Hilton Hotels, with Lindgren overseeing top-line revenues for up to 45 hotels at one time.
One of her first tasks at the property is overseeing the first phase of a renovation project that is expected to be completed in April. The renovation is phase one of two phases and includes the annex building with 114 guestrooms and suites and the Event Center with 5,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space. The Hotel Boulderado has a total of 160 guestrooms & suites and 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The next phase will include the mezzanine and lobby.
Lindgren is the 2015-2016 president of Destination Colorado, a nonprofit organization that promotes Colorado as a premiere place to hold meetings and events and provides resources and information for planners. She also has served on the board of directors of Meeting Professionals International Rocky Mountain Chapter.
