The Memphis CVB announced the hire of Jeff Homad as vice president of convention sales & services. Homad will direct all convention sales and services for the CVB and Memphis Cook Convention Center.
“I’m excited to come to Memphis during a time when the city is moving with so much positive momentum,” said Homad. “The authenticity and appeal of Memphis speaks for itself, and I look forward to helping the team at the MCVB bring more meetings and conventions to this wonderful city.”
Homad comes to the Memphis CVB with more than 18 years of experience in luxury and upscale destination resorts, hotels and vacation rental properties. He most recently served as the executive director of sales at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Fla. He has also lead sales and marketing efforts for major hotels and resorts in California, Georgia, South Carolina and Washington, D.C.
“Jeff has effectively lead many hospitality teams across the country,” said Kevin Kane, president and CEO of the Memphis CVB. “We know his expertise will be the perfect addition to our team in order for us to maintain and grow the number of meetings and conventions booked in Memphis each year.”
