Major Makeover for Virginia Westin

FALLS CHURCH, Va.

The Westin Tysons Corner announced that the hotel, residing near the nation’s capital, will be undergoing a $10 million renovation.

Scheduled to be completed at the end of March 2016, the transformation of the Westin Tysons Corner includes a refresh of the rooms and lobby, a new restaurant and lounge concept and a meeting space upgrade.

The refresh will see a complete re-design of the hotel’s 405 guestrooms and 12 suites. The lobby will be transformed into a more open space with communal tables. The meeting spaces will be updated with thoughtful touches and newly modernized surroundings.

The renovation also includes new concepts for the restaurant and lounge. The restaurant will be transformed to a steakhouse, The Chop’n Room. The lounge will be named Blu and there will be live music programming throughout the weekdays and weekends.

“It was definitely time for a change in our hotel. The renovation shows our commitment to maintaining our image as a world-class brand. We felt it was only necessary to introduce a completely upgraded and enhanced experience for our guests”, says Mark Namdar, general manager of the property.

The Westin Tysons Corner is located in the heart of Tysons Corner neighborhood, which encompasses the towns of Mclean, Vienna, and Falls Church, Virginia. It includes 13 meeting rooms and approximately 10,000 square feet of event space.
