Great Wolf Lodge Splashes Into SoCal

GARDEN GROVE, Calif.

Great Wolf Resorts celebrated the grand opening of Great Wolf Lodge Southern California on March 4, the first California location for the largest chain of indoor waterparks in North America.

Located in the city of Garden Grove, the 603-suite Great Wolf Lodge Southern California is the brand’s largest resort, delivering a new option in the area for traveling families (and family-friendly functions).

“We are excited to officially open our doors and provide the Great Wolf Lodge experience to families in Southern California,” said Rubén A. Rodríguez, CEO, Great Wolf Resorts, Inc.

The centerpiece of Great Wolf Lodge Southern California is the extensive 84-degree, 105,000-square-foot indoor water park that offers water activities for everyone from young children to adults. Admission to the indoor water park is free and exclusive to resort guests, helping to prevent overcrowding.

The all-suite resort features themed Wolf Den and KidCabin suites that offer bunk beds in a private sleeping area. Larger suites offer second bedrooms and bathrooms for multigenerational families all traveling together. Great Wolf Lodge also claims to offer the largest hotel rooms in Garden Grove.

The resort features seven dining experiences across its facilities including breakfast and dinner buffet options in the Loose Moose Buffet, and a specialty menu in the Lodge Wood Fired Grill restaurant.

In addition to catering to leisure travelers, Great Wolf Lodge Southern California has more than 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting space—complete with a dedicated group entrance, built-in audio/video technology, customizable catering options and a world-class team of industry professionals.
