FORT WORTH, Tex.
Omni Hotels & Resorts announced the appointment of Josh Heidenreich as area managing director and general manager for the Omni Fort Worth Hotel.
In this role, he will be charged with managing sales, marketing, food and beverage and operational efforts for the 614-room hotel, which offers nearly 68,000 square feet of meeting space. Heidenreich will also oversee the operations of Omni’s New Orleans properties including, Omni Royal Orleans, Omni Royal Crescent Hotel and Omni Riverfront Hotel.
Heidenreich has more than 20 years of hospitality experience, and has been with Omni for eight years in various leadership positions. He comes to Omni Fort Worth after serving general manager positions at Omni Providence Hotel in 2013 and Omni New Haven Hotel in 2011 where he won Omni’s “2012 GM Award for Service.” Prior to that, Heidenreich was the hotel manager of Mokara Hotel & Spa in San Antonio when the hotel ranked No. 1 in Medallia scores for overall experience, service, accommodations and food and beverage. He also held a brief role as director of rooms at the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas near Dallas. Prior to joining Omni, Heidenreich served as director of operations at Hotel Derek in Houston and worked a wide range of positions at the Fairmont Hotel Dallas.
Heidenreich attended Cornell University, where he studied in the school’s general managers program.
