Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa announced the appointment of Ben Premack as the new director of sales and marketing.
An experienced hospitality professional with 13 years in the travel industry, Premack brings to the LEED EBOM certified resort strong leadership, analytical skills and a history of sales and marketing successes throughout the industry. Premack has been with Hyatt since 2003, most recently serving as director of sales and marketing at Grand Hyatt DFW.
“We are delighted to welcome Ben to the Hyatt Regency Maui team” says Allan Farwell, general manager at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. “His impressive background and experience with the Hyatt brand make him an excellent asset to the resort and we look forward to what he will bring to build upon Hyatt Regency Maui’s stellar record of leisure and business sales.”
Premack began his career with Hyatt in 2003 at Hyatt Regency Bethesda and worked as an assistant front office manager before being promoted to sales manager. There, he found his niche in sales and didn’t look back. A seasoned Hyatt ambassador, Premack pre-opened Grand Hyatt San Antonio in 2007, and then served as the associate director of sales at Grand Hyatt Seattle/Hyatt at Olive 8 as well as Grand Hyatt Washington D.C. He was then named director of sales at Hyatt Regency Philadelphia in 2010 prior to his most recent position at the Grand Hyatt DFW.
“I am thrilled to join the dedicated team at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa and to call Maui my new home,” adds Premack. “A fantastic resort on one of the most beautiful islands in the world, Hyatt Regency Maui is the ideal resort to employ and expand my career in hospitality.”
The 806-room Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa has over 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, including the 11,500 Monarchy Ballroom.
