SAN FRANCISCO
Hilton San Francisco Union Square, the largest hotel in the Bay Area, announced the completion of its $25 million renovation project focusing on accommodations, meeting spaces, culinary outlets and common areas. Most recently, the property finalized a $6 million transformation of its 30,000-square-foot lobby. The latest enhancements include a bright overhaul of its Lobby Bar and culinary marketplace, Herb N’ Kitchen, with a new design inspired by San Francisco’s eclectic characteristics.
“We wanted to provide our city and travelers with a quintessential hotel experience,” said Steve Cowan, general manager, Hilton San Francisco Union Square. “The newly exposed renovations provide our guests with a unique relaxed approach to the design with innovative flourishes.”
The hotel’s new look is high on style with a personality that resembles San Francisco’s detailed steel structures, famed bridges and turn-of-the-century design. The lobby’s customized energy-efficient light fixture, steel incorporations and accent wall behind the front desk, reflect its unique history and culture.
Hilton San Francisco Union Square is steps from shopping, dining and entertainment in the heart of Union Square and is home to a fully equipped, modern fitness center, an outdoor heated swimming pool and whirlpool. The property features 134,500 square feet of meetings and special events space, including 73 meeting rooms and an opulent 30,000 square foot Grand Ballroom.
