SPOKANE, Wash.
Red Lion Hotels Corporation (RLHC) recently announced the Red Lion Inn & Suites Spokane completed a nine-month renovation and is now open for leisure and business travelers.
"The former Spokane House has undergone a complete renovation from top to bottom," said Pintu Bath, an owner of this hotel as well as the Red Lion Hotel Seattle-Renton. "We have had lots of interest in this hotel with locals dropping by to take a look at the improvements."
The Red Lion Inn & Suites Spokane, 4301 West Sunset Blvd, is located in eastern Washington just four miles east of the Spokane International Airport. The hotel features 89 newly renovated rooms, fitness and business centers as well as complimentary Wi-Fi and breakfast.
"This property has a historic presence in the Spokane market," said RLHC Senior VP and Chief Franchise Officer Brian Quinn. "Because the hotel is so well placed, adjacent to Spokane's downtown corridor as well as the airport, we expect to see a more competitive hospitality environment emerge.”
Spokane is a growing metro area with companies like Providence Health Systems, Avista Utilities, Itron and higher education such as Gonzaga University, Washington State University and Eastern Washington University. The city is well-known for its annual Bloomsday road race and Hoopfest basketball tourney.
The hotel offers special room block rates for groups utilizing 10 guest rooms or more.
