Mills Park Hotel celebrated its official opening in Yellow Springs, Ohio, which is part of the Dayton Metro. The 28-room hotel features 24,000 square feet of event space and a banquet room for 150
“We haven’t had a very large place for people to stay,” said Karen Wintrow, executive of the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce told the International Meetings Review. “It’s not just about tourism … It gives our business community a beautiful location for their board members and employees to stay.”
The property was originally scheduled for a June 2015 launch, but ran into some construction and building code issues, which delayed the project until April 2016.
In addition to its quaint guest rooms and event space, the facility also offers the on-site Ellie’s Restaurant and Bakery for breakfast and lunch, and the Little Miami Mercantile Store will open soon.
