Boar’s Head named Malinda Brakeman sales manager for its Richmond corporate, state associations, state government, Tidewater, Hampton Roads, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and the southeast region.
Brakeman will be responsible for building on Boar’s Head’s success by combining her customer service and event planning skills and introducing new groups and organizations to the resort. She will be an active member of VSAE (Virginia Society of Association Executives).
Between 2010 and 2013 Brakeman served as the special events coordinator for The Inn at Little Washington and executive assistant to Patrick O’Connell, the Inn’s owner and founder. During her time with The Inn, Brakeman planned and executed major special events, including intimate weddings, receptions and dinners, executive board meetings and business conferences.
“The Inn at Little Washington has always been known for its high level of service. We are pleased to have Malinda provide this same high level of service to Boar’s Head clients as part of our team,” said Ann H. Walker, Boar’s head director of sales & marketing.
