SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts announced its Aloft brand has opened its first hotel in Scottsdale, Ariz. Owned and managed by Triyar Hospitality, the hotel recently completed a $4 million conversion to reposition as an Aloft. Located in the heart of downtown Scottsdale’s Entertainment District, Aloft Scottsdale features 126 spacious rooms, accessible technologies and a buzzing social scene.
Guests will enjoy easy access to nearby art galleries, the boutiques along Fifth Avenue, a wide variety of restaurants, Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall and the Scottsdale Waterfront.
“We are thrilled to introduce Starwood’s stylish Aloft brand to Scottsdale and expect the hotel will resonate with both business and leisure travelers in pursuit of a technology-rich experience and spirited social environment,” said Michael Mahoney, CEO, Triyar Hospitality.
Aloft Scottsdale features SPG Keyless—Starwood’s industry-first keyless entry system that enables guests to use their smartphone or Apple watch as a room key—and free Wi-Fi throughout the property.
The hotel offers 400 square feet of meeting space; a fitness center; a one-stop gourmet grab & go food and beverage area; and live, local music at the brand’s signature W XYZ bar. Aloft Scottsdale will be Triyar’s fourth Starwood hotel, joining W Scottsdale, Aloft Tempe and Aloft Silicon Valley.
