GLENEDEN BEACH, Ore.
Salishan Spa & Golf Resort announced the appointment of Lindsey Youngren to the position of director of sales and marketing.
Youngren comes to the resort with over 20 years experience in sales and event planning. She has a proven record in group and convention business development and building client relationships in various markets.
“We’re thrilled to have Lindsey on the team,” said Gregg Harper, general manager of the resort. “She brings a fresh perspective along with her extensive sales and marketing experience. She’s going to be one of our biggest assets as we move into the summer season.”
Youngren takes pride in developing a sales environment that balances customer engagement and professional development. She takes time to mentor and guide the sales team on strategic planning to develop markets and grow revenue.
A graduate of the University of Oregon, Youngren is an Oregon native. “My parents honeymooned at Salishan, and we had a beach house on the Oregon coast when I was growing up in Portland, so I have a deep connection to the Oregon coast,” Youngren said.
Salishan Spa & Golf Resort, located on Oregon’s central coast, is managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts. There is over 14,000 square feet of meeting space, including the Long House Ballroom that can accommodate up to 350. The property also features an 18-hole golf course redesigned by Peter Jacobsen and four restaurants serving Pacific Northwest cuisine.
