Vincent de Croock

Hyatt Times Square New York announced the appointment of Vincent de Croock as the director of sales, marketing & events.

In this role, de Croock will be responsible for elevating sales as well as pioneering strategies to drive occupancy and increase the hotel’s revenue. He will also be tasked with growing strategic accounts, fostering partner relationships and overall elevation of the hotel’s profile.

“Vincent is a vibrant professional and brings tremendous amount of acumen to Hyatt Times Square,” said Philip Stamm, general manager. “His proven history of successes speaks for itself and I strongly believe that he will bring a new dynamic to our team.”

Prior to this role, de Croock was the director of sales & marketing at De L’Europe in Amsterdam, in which he managed a team of 19 to achieve 14 consecutive record-setting months in room revenue. He began his career in hospitality in 2005 at the Park Hyatt Madrid as sales manager and later senior sales manager. He later moved to Park Hyatt Washington in Washington, DC where here served as associate director of sales at Park and later director of sales & marketing at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables in Florida. De Croock was also the opening director of sales & marketing at Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort in Costa Rica.

De Croock’s hospitality experience in four countries makes him a seamless fit for this new position. “Hyatt Times Square represents the true essence of New York City and I look forward to contributing to the hotel’s continued growth and success,” said de Croock.

De Croock graduated from the Superior School for Hotel Management Maastricht, Netherlands. He has been recognized with various awards during his time at Hyatt properties including Department of the Year and Manager of the Quarter.

The Hyatt Times Square is located near Broadway theaters, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and Rockefeller Center. With 487 guest rooms, the 54-story glass tower hotel is one of the tallest freestanding Hyatts in the world. The hotel features 7,000 square feet of meeting space with a 1,500-square-foot ballroom and adjacent 1,400-square-foot outdoor terrace that overlooks the city.
