Wasserstein Partners acquired Northstar Travel Group, the owner of several travel and meetings industry related magazines, including Travel Weekly, Successful Meetings and Meetings & Conventions.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed, however, the Meetings & Conventions website noted that Harris Williams represented Northstar Travel Group in the transaction and acted as its financial advisor.
Meanwhile, Macquarie Capital provided financing and acted as financial advisor to Wasserstein.
Northstar Travel Group was previously owned by the Wicks Group of Companies.
