Stretching across eight acres along the Seven Mile Beach, Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa has been one of Grand Cayman’s top addresses for memorable meetings and events.
Beginning this summer, the 343-room resort will embark on a two-phase redesign of its lobby, public spaces, guest rooms and recreation areas. Phase one currently has a December completion date.

Garcia Stromberg of GS4 Studios, which is based in West Palm Beach, Florida, was commissioned to lead the redesign and renovation of Westin Grand Cayman. The company will aim to introduce more contemporary touches to the property, while preserving its Caribbean sensibility and design.
Highlights of phase one include a completely redesigned, open and inviting lobby area that showcases the resort’s location on the Seven Mile Beach. With raised ceilings, a bright, neutral refreshed color palate, and a reimagined Catboat lobby bar, guests will experience a more elevated arrival.
Café Soleil, a venue for busy travelers who enjoy on-the-go snacks, will be transformed, expanded and relocated to a more convenient location. The resort’s freshwater swimming pool, the island's largest, fitness center and retail outlets will also be refreshed, marrying modern design with island flair.
In 2017, Westin Grand Cayman will continue its transformation with the renovation of its guest rooms and suites, including a full bathroom remodel and additional public areas.
Throughout the two-phase enhancement, groups will still be able to utilize the resort’s 9,000 square feet of indoor and 40,000 square feet of outdoor function spaces, and a variety of meeting amenities.
Off season rates start at $229 and high season rates start at $399 for an Ocean View Room.
