Gregg Herning

Bellagio announced the appointment of Gregg Herning as the resort’s new vice president of sales.

In this role, he is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for all sales efforts at Bellagio, a AAA Five Diamond, 3,933-room resort. With more than 200,000 square feet of space, Bellagio’s meeting and convention facilities have received numerous awards including 5 Keys (the highest designation) from Green Key Meetings Rating Program.

Bringing 30 years of sales and marketing experience to the role, Herning leads his team with innovative thinking to create the most memorable meeting and convention guest experience available today. He also takes great pride in providing comprehensive skills training and career development for his teams.

Most recently, he served as the vice president of sales for MGM Grand. Before joining MGM Resorts International in 2013, Herning served as Brand Vice President for the award-winning Peabody Hotel Group.

Herning currently serves as co-chair for the MPI WEC educational committee, enjoys serving as a guest lecturer at hospitality events across the country and holds a seat on the sales and marketing advisory board at University of Arkansas.
