WASHINGTON, D.C.
Green Venue Report, a group of event industry professionals working toward the advancement of venue sustainability, announced the closure of its third annual survey to compare sustainability practices and performance metrics across convention and exhibition centers, as well as a final list of venues to be featured in the 2016 Green Venue Report, which will be published in October 2016.
The 2016 Green Venue Report will compare green performance over a wide-range of areas, including: energy efficiency, waste management, water usage, food and beverage services, cleaning practices, staff involvement, communications and certifications. The report will compile information from 44 participating convention centers, which includes the Atlantic City Convention Center, Cobo Convention Center in Detroit and the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, among other global participants.
