Japan’s largest hospitality company, APA Group, Tokyo, plans to acquire Vancouver-based Coast Hotels for $210 million from Okabe Co. Ltd., according to a new article on the Hotels magazine website.
The share-transfer agreement is expected to close in early September. Coast Hotels has 36 properties in North America and recently entered the U.S. market in November 2015 with APA Hotel Woodbridge.
