SAN DIEGO
Evans Hotels announced Christine Segal as the director of national accounts, mid-Atlantic and Southeast markets.
In her new role, Segal will be working from a remote office located in Fairfax, Va. and will focus her sales efforts on San Diego’s Catamaran Resort and Spa as well as Bahia Resort Hotel. Her in-market proximity to customers will allow for greater visibility and direct sales contact in developing new business in the association, government and corporate markets for each of the Evans Hotels’ properties.
With more than twenty years of hospitality sales experience, Segal has an extensive background working for Convention and Visitors Bureaus including Dallas and Nashville, as well as several major hotel companies including Loews, Hyatt Hotels and Caesars Entertainment. Most recently, she had her own business as an Independent Meeting Consultant.
Segal holds a bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Parks from Penn State University with an emphasis in Commercial Recreation and Tourism, and is a Certified Meeting Planner.
The 310-room Catamaran Resort and Spa, located on the shores of San Diego’s Mission Bay offers more than 20,000 square feet of meeting space. Bahia Resort Hotel, also located along Mission Bay features 16 function rooms and 20,000 square feet of meeting space.
