Three separate tropical systems are expected to impact western Florida, the Outer Banks in North Carolina and Hawaii this week, though it’s not for certain how strong they will be.
According to USA Today, two tropical depressions will bring “rain and churning seas” to the East and Gulf Coasts and Hurricane Madeline is approaching Hawaii and will move over or near Big Island.
The tropical depressions, which have the potential to reach storm threshold sometime on Tuesday, August 30, will impact North Carolina’s Outer Banks and potentially the Key West area of Florida.
It is possible that the Big Island, the Outer Banks and Florida will experience major storms and flash flooding, among other concerns related to the tropical depressions and Hurricane Madeline.
More information is available from USA Today and The Weather Channel. The National Hurricane Center is also providing up-to-date information on the tropical depressions and hurricane systems.
