Aurora Hyatt Expands Wellness Program

AURORA, Colo.

The Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center announced a series of new wellness offerings for business travelers developed in collaboration with the University of Colorado Anschutz Health and Wellness Center, the premier integrated health and wellness center in the Denver metro area.

“Hyatt Regency Aurora’s latest wellness offerings give business travelers a chance to recharge and rejuvenate in a convenient, interactive fashion,” said Stephan Meier, general manager of Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center. “The collaboration with CU Anschutz … is a perfect fit.”

Key program details include:

  • Teambuilding: Customized group activities include not only physical activity (such as circuit training and relay races) but also all-encompassing wellness (mind – body – soul) education.
  • Lunch & Learn Speaker: The CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center’s Registered Dietitians can enhance a group luncheon with motivational, educational speakers, who will educate and inspire with talks covering nutrition, staying fit while traveling, how to recharge and more.
  • Spa Break Enhancements: Take a spa break and enjoy yoga stretches, chair massages, and smoothie breaks, including recipes and nutritional fact-finding.
  • Cooking classes: Groups of 15 guests and under can experience a personalized, interactive cooking class at the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center kitchen, where they’ll work with a trained chef in a professional culinary environment and take home recipes to try at home.
  • Maintain Not Gain Package: Wellness doesn’t have to begin (or end) with a Hyatt Regency Aurora stay. The six-week Maintain Not Gain virtual program for the holidays, developed by the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center, delivers healthy messaging, meal planning, and fitness content via email to support guests over the high stress holiday season.

These new offerings complement Hyatt Regency Aurora’s oversized fitness center, where guests can take advantage of free weights or use a Hyatt StayFit cardio machines to burn calories. The hotel also recently partnered with Gaiam, a local wellness brand that specializes in yoga equipment and apparel.

The 249-room Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center includes over 30,000 square feet of IACC-certified conference and event space, alongside an on-site restaurant and large outdoor patio.
