SPOKANE, Wash.
Visit Spokane announced that Jeff Poole has joined the organization's sales team. Poole will be filling the newly created position of senior director of sales & national accounts, Mid Atlantic and Eastern Region.
As a member of the sales team, Poole will work to promote the Spokane region to meeting and convention planners.
With a long career in the meetings industry, including positions at Visit Albuquerque and Omni Hotels, Poole has extensive experience working with meeting planners throughout the country, primarily in the Washington D.C. market.
“We are very excited to have Jeff fill this role within our sales team, as he will be a great addition,” said Rob Enriquez, vice president of sales and marketing at Visit Spokane. “His depth of knowledge and proven experience will contribute towards boosting our already increasing sales efforts.”
In addition to his work with destination marketing organizations and hotels, Poole was also the CEO of his own sales and marketing firm, JSP Marketing, for nearly ten years in the Washington D.C. area.
“I feel lucky to be in Spokane and working with the sales team,” said Poole. “Spokane has so much to offer for meetings and convention groups, and I’m looking forward to sharing the area’s story with those who have yet to experience this great destination.”
