Pamela Baldwin has been named the new general manager of the recently refurbished Hilton Garden Inn Providence.
Baldwin takes the lead at the hotel which recently went through a nine month total property renovation and rebrand. The Hilton Garden Inn Providence, which is the city’s only waterfront hotel, is owned and managed by TPG Hotels & Resorts.
As general manager, Baldwin will be responsible for leading the hotel’s team of managers and associates while supervising all aspects of the hotel, including the front office, housekeeping, kitchen, restaurant, event planning, banquets and maintenance. She will also oversee procurement, training and hiring, and will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop revenue generating tactics through a tailored sales approach in alignment with the Hilton Garden Inn brand.

Baldwin joins the Hilton Garden Inn Providence after seven years at the Providence Biltmore serving as the director of sales & marketing. She was responsible for strategic direction and management of group, catering and business sales coupled with forecasting and comprehensive marketing initiatives.
Baldwin is an active board member of the Providence Tourism Council. She previously served on the board of the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitor’s Bureau and the board of trustees for FirstWorks Rhode Island. Baldwin is a graduate of Boston School of Fashion Design.
