Residence Inn Breckenridge, which is scheduled to open in December, announced the appointment of Pamela Brown as director of sales and marketing.
Brown joins Residence Inn Breckenridge from a five-year stint at Robert Half, an international staffing firm, where she worked her way up from staffing manager to branch manager and national internal recruiter. Her move to Breckenridge with Residence Inn marks a professional return to the Marriott portfolio. Previously, Brown helped launch destination sales efforts at Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort, Golf Club and Spa in Florida, where she was responsible for corporate and association group business and business development. Her career path has also included posts with Desert Springs, J.W. Marriott Resort and Spa in Palm Desert, Calif., and Fort Collins Marriott in Fort Collins, Colo.
Located on the south side of Main Street, the 129-all-suite hotel include in-room kitchens, a year-round outdoor pool and hot tub, on-site ski storage, Hearth Room lounge for après ski aperitifs and 1,500-square-feet of meeting space.
