TULSA, Okla.
The River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Okla., is set to open its 483-room hotel and Paradise Cove Theater in early January. The resort pool and spa will debut in the spring along with the convention center and meeting space, Margaritaville Casino and Margaritaville Restaurant are already open.
The tropical-themed destination resort will feature a 27-story hotel tower with 483 guest rooms and suites. Guests can relax at a resort pool area with fire pits, cabanas, palm trees and a swim up beach bar.
The 30,000-square-foot convention center includes a 14,400-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate 1,440 guests, conference rooms and boardrooms. There is also the 2,500-seat Paradise Cove Theater which will have its first entertainment show Jan. 6, but it will also serve as a venue for meetings and events.
River Spirit has six restaurants, including Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Restaurant, with two outdoor decks and seating for up to 400 guests. Other dining options include Fireside Grill, Visions Buffet, Johnny Rockets, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Margaritaville Coffee Shop.
The 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar is also open and has live entertainment and frozen concoctions made famous by the tropical troubadour Jimmy Buffett. The 46,000-square-foot Margaritaville Casino is packed with over 800 of the latest gaming machines and live table and poker games.
