LOS ANGELES, Calif.
The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel underwent a $25 million room renovation, led by internationally renowned design firm Yabu Pushelberg. With a palette showcasing subtle textures, beautiful leathers, and soft grey tones with persimmon-red accents, the new design maintains the integrity of the hotel's Spanish Colonial roots, but with a modern twist. Under the management direction of David Chang and Goodwin Gaw, the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel continues to maintain the individuality that has allowed it to forge a distinctive place in Hollywood history for nearly 90 years, while tastefully revitalizing its storied past.
"The Hollywood Roosevelt's reputation as an iconic, one-of-a-kind lifestyle hotel has been forged with distinction in Hollywood's history," said COO Brett Blass. "It's an exciting time for the entire hotel team and for Los Angeles - our stunning guest room renovation celebrates this landmark hotel's character, charm and Hollywood roots while making us all very enthusiastic for the future ahead."
The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel has long been a meeting spot for Hollywood elite and entertainment industry figures. Spaces within the hotel such as the Tropicana Cafe and the Library Bar draw creatives for its intimate and picturesque surroundings. The Hollywood Roosevelt exudes the charm and glamour of a bygone era through its other spaces as well: from the prohibition-era style cocktail lounge and hand-crafted bowling alley the Spare Room; to famed Hollywood hot spot, Teddy's; to the views from its iconic Rooftop; and including one of Hollywood's most cherished oases: the Tropicana Pool, featuring a mass of palm trees and painted artwork from the renowned David Hockney.
The 298-room hotel is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts Lifestyle Collection, which represents premiere global properties. There is a variety of accommodations ranging from poolside cabanas to Tower Rooms with views of the city and Hollywood Hills.
