Chef Charlie Palmer and Charlie Palmer Group announce a new hotel leadership team at their two Northern California properties, Mystic Hotel by Charlie Palmer and Harvest Inn by Charlie Palmer.
Palmer’s hotel teams are now led by James DeLuca, the general manager at Harvest Inn, Tamara DeMars, the director of sales & marketing, and Parul Suri, the director of revenue management & distribution.
James DeLuca brings two decades of world-class hotel and service experience to his position as general manager of Harvest Inn by Charlie Palmer. He has marked hotel management successes throughout California at Resort at Squaw Creek, The Standard LA, Senza Hotel, North Block Hotel, and Bardessono. DeLuca’s innate aptitude for recruiting and building cohesive teams, passionate involvement in the Napa Valley community, and effortless skill for creating remarkable guest experiences uniquely positions him as the ideal leader for Harvest Inn.
With a degree in marketing and a master’s in design and merchandising from Colorado State University, Tamara DeMars has honed her craft at some of California’s best known resorts, including Santa Barbara’s San Ysidro Ranch, Napa’s Silverado Resort and Spa, and most recently, Yountville’s Bardessono. In her short time with the Harvest Inn and Mystic Hotel she’s already built a talented sales and marketing team to rally around her vision for the portfolio’s brand.
With revenue management expertise compiled at some of the world’s best hotels, Parul Suri brings a global and multi-concept dynamic to her new post as Director of Revenue Management & Distribution at Charlie Palmer Hotels. Born and raised in New Delhi, her international resume includes posts at Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces, Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
In conjunction with Chef Palmer, the new team is spearheading a robust plan to enhance the guest experience and increase business volume, ADR, and group sales at both hotels. Their combined hotel experience represents over 50 years of hotels operations, sales, revenue management, and guest services.
“I feel incredibly fortunate that we’ve attracted such great hoteliers and field leaders to be a part of our burgeoning hotel group,” said Chef Charlie Palmer. “With these folks at the helm, coupled with the existing infrastructure of our hotel and CPG teams, the opportunities are endless.”
