Kenneth Zahn, Jr. has been appointed to director of sales at Pursell Farms, a 3,200-acre destination resort situated in the scenic Central Alabama foothills.
“Kenneth is ideally-suited to get us in front of the right meeting planners in the right market segments across the Southeast,” said Mark Fraser, general manager of Pursell Farms. “His leadership skills, experience and relationships in the meetings industry make him a great asset to our team.”
Most recently, Zahn was senior sales manager at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, he was senior sales manager at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, with responsibilities for cross-selling 26 Marriott properties in Atlanta, New Orleans, and Nashville. His decade-plus track record in sales also includes roles as director of sales at the Hilton Pasadena, Calif., with Davidson Hotels & Resorts, and the Sheraton Music City in Nashville.

In May, 4,600 square feet of event space will debut, with additional meeting space opening in October.
