Caesars Entertainment appointed Kelly Gleeson Smith to the position of senior vice president of sales. In a press release, the company said Smith was promoted due to her demonstrated ability, exceptional skills, dedication and unwavering commitment to fostering an environment of growth and success for her teams.
Smith joined Caesars Entertainment in 2017 and has since transformed the company’s meetings and events sales strategy, leading a team of over 120 sales executives who have consistently set new production records, according to the company. Smith has over 20 years of experience in sales and has earned accolades such as the 2019 Caesars Corporate Excellence in Leadership Award.
Smith is also an industry mentor and active member of the meetings and events industry via involvement in PCMA, MPI, IAEE Women’s Leadership Forum, US Travel Sustainability Council and ASAE.
