Luxe Hotels announced the appointment of Miranda Mankarious as executive meeting manager. Mankarious brings with her nearly a decade of management experience in the hospitality industry.
Mankarious previously served as convention services and marketing coordinator at the Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles, where she managed an average of 27 group functions per month. Prior to her time with Intercontinental, she also held positions at Crystal Cruises and Wilshire State Bank. In each of her roles, Mankarious built both client and vendor relationships and oversaw bi-monthly and annual budgets.
“Miranda’s experience with customer advocacy and her knowledge of key sales techniques will make her a welcome addition to the Sales and Convention Services Department at Luxe Hotels,” said Adam Sydenham, regional general manager of Luxe Hotels.
In her new role, Mankarious will continue to establish client and vendor relationships. She will also work closely with the banquet department on operations and event execution, including providing overall direction and coordination.
