The Abbey Resort, located on the shores of Geneva Lake, unveiled major property renovations, including those made to its harbor side Waterfront restaurant as well as updates completed within the resort’s 334 guest rooms.
Renovations at the Waterfront restaurant include a new outdoor area featuring a waterfall and fire pit with seating overlooking Abbey Harbor, a refreshed outdoor patio and seating area, a modernization of the indoor seating and bar areas, relocation of the hostess stand and new branding.
Additionally, the Waterfront is pleased to offer a new menu featuring salads, burgers, award-winning house-smoked BBQ, a custom drink menu and live music entertainment each Wednesday through Sunday. The new look provides diners with pristine and unobstructed views of Abbey Harbor from almost every seat in the restaurant.
The recently renovated guest rooms at the resort retain their relaxing nautical theme while being refreshed with new bedding packages, new carpet, new paint and new sofa sleepers. Outdoors, recent renovations include refreshed outdoor hot tubs, kids’ pool waterslides and new features within the toddler-friendly splash pad.
“As one of the most reputable resorts in the area, we know our loyal patrons expect us to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to renovations,” said Sara Schmitz, marketing director for the property. “We strive for excellence in hospitality in all we do, and we are confident our guests will be pleased with the crisp, clean feel of our refreshed guest rooms and with our all new Waterfront restaurant.”
