The OD Barcelona Hotel opened in the heart of Barcelona's L'Eixample District. The luxury hotel combines a convenient location for walking to key city sights along with contemporary luxury design, exclusive access and an emphasis on service. There's also a large focus on sustainability. OD Barcelona received the award for the Top Sustainable Hotel Development Project in Spain at Re Think Hotel 2017.
Throughout the 98 rooms and suites, lobby lounge, restaurant with terrace and garden and OD Sky Bar, the hotel’s design is inspired by light and space, creating a relaxing oasis within the busy city. Just over 200 yards from Passeig de Gracia, OD Barcelona is just a few minutes' walk from the Sagrada Familia and the famous Placa de Catalunya. Guests can also use one of the OD Barcelona smart cars. OD Barcelona is OD Hotels' first property on the Spanish mainland. The collection also has hotels in Ibiza and Mallorca.
Dining and drink options vary from a restaurant space with bold-hued furnishings to a slick white lobby bar with expansive windows. The restaurant serves a selection of the famed Spanish cold cuts, hot favorites and savory bakery corner for breakfast. A la carte service, with a focus on health-conscious, cross-over cuisine, is available for lunch and dinner. When not exploring the city, guests can unwind in the lobby bar or on the hotel’s rooftop terrace with swimming pool. The roof terrace can also be rented for private events. The hotel's also hosts its own events, such as the after work “Burger Meets Gin.”
This addition to the OD Hotels collection is part of a bigger plan to expand in 2018 and 2019. The group will open OD Saint Tropez next year and, in 2019, its first hotel in the United States with OD Miami.
