BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
Virgin Limited Edition confirmed that Necker Island will welcome back its first guests to a newly restored Great House as early as October 2018, with further accommodations expected to reopen in 2019, according to a press release.
Billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson owns Necker Island, which was hit by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria in September. The U.S. and British Virgin Islands are slowly working toward recovery. Back in November, NPR reported that much of the U.S. Virgin Islands remained in the dark.
