STUTTGART, Germany
The Jaz Stuttgart in Stuttgart, Germany, welcomed its first guests on Jan. 1, 2018. The Jaz in the City hotel brand first launched in Amsterdam in June 2016 and the Stuttgart hotel is its second property.
The music-themed hotel aims to be “hip, casual and trendy,” while offering guests a local touch. The 166-room hotel features digitized booking, check-in, check-out, room keys and payment systems. This means that a smartphone can be used as a room key and to request reception service, among other functions.
As part of the Jaz branding, music can be heard, seen and experienced across every area of the hotel. The "Rhythms Bar + Kitchen" delivers a creative menu prepared using local produce. Live acts, concerts and spontaneous sessions are also all part of the program. Jaz draws upon the local music and cultural scene and brings artists and their works into the hotel itself. Changing exhibitions decorate the public areas and walls.
The Jaz Stuttgart includes The Base, its meetings headquarters, which features three music-themed meeting rooms ideal for groups of up to 180 attendees. Two sixth-floor boardrooms are also available.
