Visit Wichita announced Lindsay Gulley as convention sales manager, the newest member to the sales team.
As one of Visit Wichita’s convention sales managers, Gulley will market and sell Wichita as a convention and meeting destination, helping groups identify and select facilities, hotels and vendors to ensure visitors have a successful meeting experience – and also a memorable visit by enjoying the city’s museums, attractions, live shows, shopping and dining. Her focus areas include hobby/avocational, religious, fraternal, military reunion groups.
Gulley was born and raised in Wichita, and received her bachelor of business administration in marketing from Wichita State University. Prior to joining Visit Wichita, she was the executive director of market development for March of Dimes Foundation.
“As a Wichitan from birth, I understand what a gem this city is. It’s large enough to have big-city amenities such as arts, shopping and attractions but small enough that it feels like ‘home’ and it’s a great place to raise a family,” Gulley said. “I am delighted that through this role I have the opportunity to share my Wichita pride, bring visitors in so they can experience the city firsthand and show the rest of the country what we have to offer. Wichita is truly an incredible place.”
The sales team, led by Vice President of Sales Moji Rosson, consists of Gulley and three additional convention services professionals and convention sales managers.
